Cato Fashions Electronic Disclosure - Make A Payment
COMBINED E-SIGNATURES & ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFER NOTICES updated 8/26/26
This disclosure is being provided by the Cedar Hill National Bank (or an affiliate – such as the CATO Corporation) which is referred to hereafter as “we”, “our”, “us”. You, the customer, are referred to as “you” or “your”.
→ In order to make an online payment, you must agree to receive the following information electronically. By choosing the “Accept & Continue” button below you acknowledge your ability to receive this information electronically and that you have ability to retain it by saving an electronic copy (such as on a phone or computer) or printing it physically (such as with a printer), if you so desire. You may also contact us at the address or phone number listed below and we will send you a physical copy of this information free of charge.
→ If you do not choose “Accept and Continue” you will not be able to make an on-line payment and you will be required to make your payment by other means – such as by making an in-store payment, via the mail, or by calling customer service at the number listed below. If you decide to withdraw your consent after clicking “Accept and Continue”, you will need to click the “Exit” button any time prior to clicking “Make Payment”. Withdrawal of your consent will also require you to make a payment by another means.
If you need to update your email address during the transaction, you may click “Home” and re-input the correct information. If you need to update your email address after the online payment has been made, please contact customer service at the phone number listed below.
For purposes of these disclosures, our business days are Monday through Saturday.
We do not charge a fee for you to make an online payment.
We will disclose information to third parties about your account or the transfers you make:
(i) Where it is necessary for completing transfers, or
(ii) In order to verify the existence and condition of your account for a third party, such as a credit bureau or merchant, or
(iii) In order to comply with government agency or court orders, or
(iv) If you give us your written permission.
You will get a monthly CATO account statement (unless there is no balance or activity on your account).
If you want to stop a recurring electronic payment that you have previously set-up, please log into your account which can be accessed at https://www.e-billexpress.com/ebpp/CatoCorp/Login/Index and choose to stop a recurring payment under Payment Details. Alternatively, if you have told us in advance to make recurring payments on your Cato account from your checking or savings account, you can also stop any of these payments by calling us at 877-577-3526 or writing us at Cedar Hill National Bank, PO Box 34216, Charlotte, NC 28234-4216, in time for us to receive your request 3 business days or more before the payment is scheduled to be made. If you call, we may also require you to put your request in writing and get it to us within 14 days after you call. If these regular payments may vary in amount, we will tell you 10 days before each payment, when it will be made and how much it will be. If you order us to stop one of these payments 3 business days or more before the transfer is scheduled, and we do not do so, we will be liable for your losses or damages.
If we do not complete a transfer from your account on time or in the correct amount according to our agreement with you, we will be liable for your losses or damages. However, there are some exceptions. We will not be liable, for instance:
(1) If, through no fault of ours, you do not have enough money in your account to make the transfer.
(2) If the transfer goes over the credit limit on your overdraft line.
(3) If the automated teller machine where you are making the transfer does not have enough cash.
(4) If the system was not working properly and you knew about the breakdown when you started the transfer.
(5) If circumstances beyond our control (such as fire or flood) prevent the transfer, despite reasonable precautions that we have taken.
(6) There may be other exceptions stated in our agreement with you.
In Case of Errors or Questions About Your Electronic Transfers involving your account with Cedar Hill National Bank, Telephone us at Call us at 877-577-3526, or write us at Cedar Hill National Bank, PO Box 34216, Charlotte, NC 28234-4216 as soon as you can, if you think your statement or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a transfer listed on the statement or receipt. We must hear from you no later than 90 days after we sent the FIRST statement on which the problem or error appeared.
(1) Tell us your name and account number (if any).
(2) Describe the error or the transfer you are unsure about and explain as clearly as you can why you believe it is an error or why you need more information.
(3) Tell us the dollar amount of the suspected error.
If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within 10 business days.
We will determine whether an error occurred within 10 business days after we hear from you and will correct any error promptly. If we need more time, however, we may take up to 45 days to investigate your complaint or question. If we decide to do this, we will credit your account within 10 business days for the amount you think is in error, so that you will have the use of the money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation. If we ask you to put your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within 10 business days, we may not credit your account.
For errors involving new accounts, point-of-sale, or foreign-initiated transactions, we may take up to 90 days to investigate your complaint or question. For new accounts, we may take up to 20 business days to credit your account for the amount you think is in error.
We will tell you the results within three business days after completing our investigation. If we decide that there was no error, we will send you a written explanation. You may ask for copies of the documents that we used in our investigation.
We have arranged for Wells Fargo, N.A., to provide online payment services for us. By clicking on the “Accept & Continue” button you will be transferred to their e-bill express website, which is outside of our control and privacy protection practices.
